Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is planning to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, according to latest reports from Metro.

The Poland international is currently on a season long loan at Serie A giants AS Roma and is enjoying his life in Italy.


Szczesny has been a vital player for the Italian side and has no plans to leave the club. Also, Roma are planning to sign him from Arsenal on a permanent deal in the summer transfer window.

With the arrival of Petr Cech at the Emirates Stadium last summer, there is no place for Szczesny in the starting eleven. Also, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has no plans to team up with him once again. Cech is currently out with a calf injury, Read Full Story.

Szczesny replied when asked about his future that he is focusing on current season but regular football always comes first. The teammate and the manager are happy with him.

Szczesny has made more than 30 appearances for Roma so far in campaigns.

Meanwhile, David Ospina is currently the second choice keeper and he could also leave the club this summer due to lack of playing time.

Serie A giants Inter Milan are set to sign Arsenal long term target Karim Benzema from Real Madrid in the summer, as per latest reports from Daily Mail.

Karim Benzema has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid since last summer. The Gunners has been targeting him for the past few years and it was reported they could seal his deal in the coming summer transfer window.

Now the recent reports from Daily Mail has claimed that Italian side Inter Milan have entered the race and could be making a big offer to secure his services.

The 28-year-old French striker has netted 24 goals so far this season.

Italian media Corriere dello Sport claimed that Inter boss Roberto Mancini is keen to sign the Los Blancos star striker but will have to fight some top clubs.

Benzema has been exceptional for the Spanish giants since his move from Lyon in 2010. He has scored 157 goals in more than 300 games in all campaigns.

Currently, he is focusing on Real Madrid and the upcoming European Championship in the summer. May be after the Euro he could decide his next destination.

Arsenal are set to agree a deal with Real Madrid for forward Alvaro Morata as the La Liga giants plan to offload him in the summer, according to AS.

The Spaniard is currently at Serie A side Juventus and will be returning back to Real Madrid in the summer, as per the reports. Real Madrid sold him to Juventus two years ago with an option to buy him back for £23.6million.


Morata has been exceptional at the Turin side and could be planning to move permanently. The reports have claimed that Real Madrid will sell Morata to Arsenal while Juventus are also in the race to sign him permanently this time.

Also, Premier League side Liverpool were reportedly interested in his services earlier this year and could reignite their interest once he returns back to his parent club.

The 23-year-old is rated around £35million which would be a big money move for Arsenal.

Furthermore, German giants Bayern Munich are also interested in him after his impressive displays against them n the Champions League.

Morata has made more than 40 appearances for Seire A side in all campaigns since his move. He has netted ten and assisted eight goals.

Arsenal are set to agree a deal for Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozović who will be free from his loan deal in the summer, according to Daily Star.

Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Brozovic is currently at Inter Milan on a season long loan deal but would be back to his parent club in the summer.


Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been keeping tabs on him for the past few months and is now likely to make a move.

The 23-year-old has been exceptional for the San Siro side, he has made 41 appearances and has been a vital player under boss Roberto Mancini.

Sky Italia reported that the Gunners representatives had a talk with the player’s agent about his future and the agent revealed that his client is ready to move.


However, Serie A side Inter Milan are also in the queue and could be fighting to sign him permanently.

TalkSportreported that the fee for the Croatian midfielder would be around £15million.

Arsenal are searching for a consistent player for the midfield role and are also aware of the trio Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky who all are set to leave the club in the summer.
